Wow...life just gets away with 2 working parents and 2 kids! But I needed to make time to update on life before I forget LOL
Kelby is 10 months old already...can you believe it?? We just had her 9 mo old check up and she is growing steadily just like her big sister. They are almost the same size on the charts at similar ages. She is 17.5 lbs right now...but she feels like 20 : ) Kelby started crawling right at 9 months old and now we cant contain her!Here are 10 things we labout Kelby:
1. She LOVES water! Swimming makes her go crazy and splash and squeal...its so fun to watch. She also loves her bathes and doesn't mind water in her face at all. Macie has always been a little more hesitant in the water.
2. She eats like a horse : ) She has been self feeding for a few months now and really never liked baby food...glad I stocked up early HA.
3. She does this crinkle nose tongue out smile that melts my heart...so cute!
4. When you hold her, or she in her chair etc, she loves to kick her little legs with excitement!
5. She is a climber already! She stands with one hand on furniture....I told her to stop that already, I am NOT ready for her to walk!
6. She LOVES the dog water and food...I will put her at one end of the house and she will crawl like the wind to get to that dog dish...I wonder if dog food will hurt them ?? HA
7. She is NOT a good sleeper...little turkey has her daycare wrapped around her finger..she is held at every nap still! And she HATES to go to bed by herself...we are learning that right now : ) And she still wakes up multiple times a night to nurse, uggg. But I just cant say no to my little princess!
8. She is discovering that Daddy is a cool guy...she loves to tackle him with Big sister.
9. Her hair is SOOO red...we are pretty proud of that : ) But her eyes look like they are not gonna be blue, they might be daddy's hazel color we thing.
10. These girls play already and have a bond indescribable. Its priceless! Macie love when Kelby wakes her up in the morning...and Kelby thinks its pretty darn fun too!
Macie is just getting so big as well. She is almost 4 and i just cant believe it! She goes to preschool and it has been so great for her. A few things about Macie:
1. She LOVES school and learning and her friends. She is such a nice young lady at school and the teachers just adore her.
2. She refuses to wear ANYTHING except dresses and skirts now-a-days. I love it, but OMG where did I go wrong HA. But she hates to have her hair done...go figure! We recently cut bangs for her and she and everyone else just LOVE them : )
3. Macie has a tude...Attitude that is! Wow! You might think she is 13...not 3 HA! We love our sassy little princess though : )

Our BABY is 6 Mo Old!!
Cant believe how time has flown...Kelby is 6 months already and just growing so fast. I still am luck enough to have her with me at work for a couple more months, and I am so thankful for this. We have had so much bonding time and its just priceless!
Main things that have happened in the last few months:
1. Kelby was diagnosed with Torticollis...a neck muscle issue. But through physical therapy and tummy time things we have been able to make it almost unnoticeable. My poor baby had a serious head tilt for quite a while!
2. Macie started school! She LOVES it and so do we...she has really blossomed and its fantastic to watch : )
3. Things about my 6 month old:
* The way she kicks her little legs in my arms while I am holding her baby style. She LOVES to just rest there and stare and coo at me while kicking her little legs like crazy.
* The language that these sisters have formed together is simply amazing to me already. They can sit and "talk" to each other like crazy! They coo and giggle and laugh hysterically with each other already, it melts my heart : )
* She is starting to get a little hair, not much, but it looks pretty red so far, fingers crossed!
* She loves to play peek a boo and the "I drop it you pick it up" game!
*ONLY boobie will do for this kid....she hates bottles = we are in trouble : )
* We have tried food, but she doesn't want it yet. She thinks she does, and will reach and grab like heck for it, but when I give her bites she chokes, gags and spits it out...what a turkey!
* She rolls over, like a little rollie pollie! Only to the right and back, but I am sure the other side is coming soon! No signs of crawling yet, thank goodness!
* Up until recently, I was 1 and only to this baby...like I have never seen before. And I have to admit, its pretty flattering : ) But I do feel bad for all the people (including her poor daddy) who got their feelings hurt from a crying baby! But that phase is over as quick as it came.
4. We finally bought a new trailer! We are so excited and cant wait to use it : ) Its a 2004 Prowler...32' long...huge popout, bunk beds for the kids and a big kitchen.

Chicken Nugget Noses
Last weekend we took our recycling in and got 40 bucks! So we decided to treat ourselves to dinner for all our hard work. We ended up at the Arcata Brewery...with 2 kids...didn't really dawn on me until we were walking in the door, but I digress!
While we were eating Macie started sneezing like crazy and picking her nose. So I asked her to stop repeatedly but she just kept at it. She finally says to me "But mommy, my nose hurts!" And we asked her why. She answers "because I put that in there (pointing to her chicken nugget) : ) " So Nick and I mildly starting freaking out and trying to look and decipher what we should do. So after much farting around with it, we were thinking that we may have to go have it professionally removed. And low and behold with one final "blow!" here came the chicken nugget flying out right onto the restaurant table HA. I ended up laughing so hard I had mascara running down my face : )
Gotta love kids!
